Why You Should Incorporate Your Brand Values Into Your Social Media Strategy

in one of our recent blogs we spoke about storytelling as a critical aspect of social media marketing.

it's no secret that the stories we tell reflect who we are, what we believe in, and what's most meaningful to us, and that's part of why it's so important to share them! just as our values are a crucial part of who we are, our brand values are a crucial part of our businesses. for example, here at Lidavi hq, we're all about:

  • inclusivity and equity

  • integrity & excellence

  • celebration of our individuality and zones of genius

they impact so much, from who we serve to how we serve them to what voice we speak to our audience in! unfortunately, we often see small business owners who haven't established their brand values operating on autopilot, without a clear compass to guide them.

here's the thing though... if you market to everyone, you're marketing to no one. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

we all want to feel seen and we all want to support businesses that share our deeply held values. but when we water down our very reasons for doing what we do, we miss out on genuine connections and great business with our ideal clients.

for every person who doesn't love our brand values, there's someone else who chooses to work with us because of them... and chances are the same will be true for you!
